ARGO was founded in 1970 initially as an R&D and innovative packaging laboratory serving Pharmaceutical Industry. Six years after, we also started production of plastic bottles and closures for Pharmaceuticals. Finally we entered in more market sectors like agrochemicals, cosmetics and food. Argo was among few companies in the world in 1980, which first developed Co-extrusion technology for the production of multilayer bottles. Later on we developed production of collapsible tubes and sterile eye droppers. From early beginning, at Argo quality has been a major issue. The Quality system has been certified in accordance with IS09001 since 1993. During nineties Argo started geographical market expansion, building an extensive sales network. Our position in the North East European market was strengthened by establishing one more plant in Romania, Argo Rom Plastics.
